The South Ward Fire Co. is proud to announce that we have been awarded a FEMA grant for over $400,000 for the purchase of new apparatus. We would also like to congratulate the East End, Citizens, and West Penn Fire Co. on the receipt of there joint grant for new breathing apparatus.

We at the South Ward Fire Company are proud to report that there are several members participating in an essentials of firefighting class being held at the fire company. The class is also being attended by members of the Citizens and American Hose of Tamaqua.
