At 19:29hrs the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 406 W. Ludlow St. in Summit Hill for a reported house fire. Engine 782 and Squad 783 went en route quickly after dispatch, and then where canceled while en route.
At 1:52am Stations 2 and 4 were dispatched to W. Broad St for a vehicle leaking fluids. Station 2 was on scene and Station 4 held in station per chiefs request due to there not being a need for further response.
At 4:30pm the South Ward Brush Crew was called into action to respond to 60 Catawissa St in Schuylkill Township for a brush fire. The crew quickly responded with 11 firefighters. Crews on scene made quick work of containing the fire and breaking up hot spots.

At 19:51hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 172 W. Spruce St. for a pole fire. Engine 782 and Squads 783 & 786 arrived to find pieces of a tree caught in wires burning. The fell with no one losing power.
At 20:45hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 400 Jerome St. for a brush fire. Engine 782 and Brush 787-1 went responding and were advised that it was a small brush fire in the area of the St. Jerome's cemetery.
At 17:57hrs. Station 4&2 were dispatched to the intersections of W. Broad St. and Catawissa St. for a MVA. Engine 784 went en route and was advised that the car was into a house with fluids down and no injuries.
At 21:35hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the intersections of Rowe and Nescopec Streets for a vehicle leaking fluids. Duty officer Captain 777 was first on scene and held the call to our Utility 788 for oil dry and waited for the tow company.
At 18:30hrs. personnel at Station 4 were arriving for training when they noticed a large amount of smoke coming from the north ward section of the borough. Chief 773 and Brush 787-1 went to investigate the cause and discovered a pile of grass and tree trimmings on fire on Jerome St.
At 15:56hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched the scene of the earlier structure fire for a rekindle. Engines 784 & 782 responded to find a small hot spot smoldering in the second floor of one of the partially collapsed houses.
At 03:04hrs the TFD was dispatched to 15 S. Lehigh St. in the borough for a working structure fire. Chief 772 was first on scene and assumed command and was advised by PD that everyone was out of the houses.
At 00:14hrs. Stations 4&1 were dispatched to 307 Owl Creek Rd. for an MVA. Engine 784 went responding and were advised that it was two cars over the embankment. Chief 773 was first to arrive and reported no entrapment but four patients with injuries in the roadway.
At 21:47hrs. Station 4&1 were dispatched to 300 Owl Creek road for an MVA. Engine 784 and Squad 786 responded to discover that the accident was actually almost to the county line. Units were on scene for one hour.
At 11:25hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 105 W. Broad St. for a AFA. Engine 782 was first to arrive and discovered burnt food on the stove. Engine 784 was then placed available and 782 handled the call.
At 01:58hrs. the TFD was dispatched to the intersections of Market and Willing for an incoming box alarm. Chief 771 was first to arrive and found nothing showing and no-one around the box. He determined it to be a false alarm and canceled all units.
