At 09:38 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 155 W. White St. in Summit Hill for a possible structure fire. Units were canceled before going en route.
At 17:25 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 500 Penn Street for an AFA. Units went en route and were advised that the school called and a baseball had hit the pull station. Captain 782 held all units with the exception of 782 and 784 already on scene.
At 17:37 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 133 Pine St. for a possible chimney fire. Units were canceled shortly after arrival or while en route by Chief 771 reporting malfunctioning oil burner.
At 19:05 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 210 Bowe St. for an odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised of an odor of something burning in the residence. Upon arrival crews went to work with Thermal Imaging Cameras(TIC) checking the residence.
At 20:06 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 10 S. Lehigh St. for an odor investigation. Units went responding and were advised of an odor of rotten eggs in the residence. Upon arrival crews went to work with multi-gas meters check the residence along with the surrounding homes.
At 20:26 hrs. Stations 4 & 1 were dispatched to101 E. High St. in Coaldale for a possible house fire. Units were held at station before going en route and then canceled shortly after by Chief 40.
At 02:00 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 22 E. Kline Ave. in Lansford for a structure fire. Units went en route and were advised of a working fire. Units were on scene for an hour and half.
At 23:18 hrs Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to N. Lehigh St. and Lafayatte St. for a vehicle leaking fluids. Chief 771 was first to go en route and held all units until he could see what the problem was.
At 22:38 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to stand by for a possible response to 200 E. Patterson St. in Lansford. Units were canceled before going en route.
At 09:14 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 201 E. Broad St. for a structure fire. Units went en route and were advised of smoke on the second floor. Crews went to the second floor and found a fully involved apartment.
At 00:30 hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to Catawissa Rd. in Walker twsp. for a tanker fill site. Engine 784 responded and provided water from dry hydrant. While Walker twsp. and other mutual aid companies handled a thousand gallon propane tank on fire in the township.
