At 08:07 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 546 Center St. for an MVA with injuries. Units went en route and were advised of one ejected and one entrapment. Engine 784 crew started extrication and 782 crew assisted with fire protection and extrication as needed.
At 20:40 hrs the TFD was dispatched to 155 Penn St. for smoke in a structure. Engine 782 was first to arrive stating nothing showing. Crews made entry to find a light smoke condition in the first floor.
At 08:39 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 4 Cherry St. for an AFA. Engines 784 and 782 went en route and were advised that it was a residential fire alarm. While en route Chief 3702 who lives in the area reported nothing showing.
At 18:05 Station 4 & 2 were dispatched to 224 Pitt St. for an automobile fire. Engines 784 & 782 responded were advised of a working car fire from police on scene. Police used an extinguisher to knock down the main fire and fire units arrived to finish.
At 15:38 hrs the TFD was dispatched to 223 W. Broad St. for smoke in a structure fire. Chief 771 was first on scene and held the call to the first engine on scene after discovering it to be an over heated light ballast.
At 16:43 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 244 Penn St. for an odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised of the smell of sulfur in the house. unit arrived and after further investigation found it to be a problem with the neighbors coal furnace.
At 21:26 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to Center St. and Spruce St. for and MVA. Units went responding and were advised that the vehicles were off the roadway and there were on fluids down. Units were quickly returned to service.
