At 16:24 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 450 Biddle St. for a possible chimney fire. Units arrived to find a malfunctioning oil burner. Chief 771 had command and held the call to the first two engines on scene.
At 18:52 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 69 Bowe St. for a possible structure fire. Units responded and found nothing showing on the outside but a light smoke condition on the interior. Upon further investigation it was discovered to be the neighbor trying to start the furnace.
At 19:56 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 22 Layaffatte St. for an MVA. Units responded to find a car into the back of a parked pick up. Patient was evaluated by ems and released. Units were on scene for half an hour.
At 04:30 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 524 E. Front St. in Lansford on a working structure fire. Engine 778 and Squad 786 responded to assist and were on scene for three hours.
At 02:34 hrs. Stations 4 &2 were dispatched to 331 Penn St. for a CO alarm. Engine 784 and 782 responded and found high levels of CO the source was found and the houses were ventilated until all the CO was out.
At 01:44 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 111 W. Broad St. for a structure fire. Units went en route and were advised of an address change to 45 W. Broad St.. Units arrived to find the rear fourth floor apartment well involved.
At 23:25 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 207 Cedar St. for a structure fire. Units arrived to find a large flower pot filled with cigarette butts smoldering and melted on the front porch.
At 16:48 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to Swatara and Rowe St. for a reported structure fire in the area. Units went en-route and were ad vised of an unknown address with heavy black smoke from the chimney.
