At 20:38 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 131 Schuylkill Ave. for the report of smoke on the third floor of an apartment building. Chief 772 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the building. Upon further investigation the fire was found to already be out.

At 10:00 hrs Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 512 Lombard St. for a man buried in a ditch up to his head. Utility 788, Engine 782, Squad 783 responded. Upon arrival the man was almost dug out by neighbors and co-workers.

At 16:30 hrs. Stations 2&4 were dispatched to 200 W. Catawissa for an AFA. Duty Chief (Captain 786-a) went en-route and was advised that there was a possible electrical fire in the concession stand.

At 06:30 hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 238 W. Broad St. for an MVA. Engine 784 went en-route with 5 and upon arrival discovered one car into several parked cars with no injures or fluids down.

At 17:25 hrs Station 4 and Station 2 were dispatched for a landing zone at the high school. Both Engines 784 & 782 responded. Duty officer 786-A was the landing zone officer. All units were on scene for a half hour.....

At 18: 21 hrs. the Tamaqua Fire Dept. was dispatched for a reported fire in a kitchen ceiling at 201 Market St.. Engine 784 went quickly en-route(with 5). While en-route Chief 772 had Eng. 784 and 782 respond under caution and kept all other units not responding yet in station.

At 21:30 hrs Station 4 & 1 were dispatched to 1 Owl Creek road for a tree down partially blocking the roadway. Brush 787-1 went in route with 3 and arrived to find a rotted tree laying about three foot in the road.

At 21:14 hrs the Tamaqua fire dept. was dispatched to 446 Arlington St. in the borough. As units went en-route they were advised of the report of smoke and heat in the attic. It was discovered to be a wicker trash can on fire.

At 14:16 hrs. Station 4 and Station 2 were dispatched to Route 309 south in West Penn township. to assist on a serious MVA. Engine 784 went en-route with 5 and was advised that they were going to be command on an LZ for three incoming helicopters.

At 17:54 hrs. Box 16 was struck for the report of a house fire at 205 N. Lehigh St. in the borough.. Eng. 784 went quickly en-route. Upon arrival Eng. 784 laid a supply line to supply Eng. 782. The crew of 4 went to assist with what was found to be a moderate kitchen fire.
