At 19:33 hrs. the Tamaqua fire chiefs were dispatched to 398 Stadium Hill Road for a smoke investigation. Chief 771 arrived on scene to find a dark column of smoke coming from the woods. At 21:30 hrs Station 4 & 1 were dispatched to 1 Owl Creek road for a tree down partially blocking the roadway. Brush 787-1 went in route with 3 and arrived to find a rotted tree laying about three foot in the road.

At 21:14 hrs the Tamaqua fire dept. was dispatched to 446 Arlington St. in the borough. As units went en-route they were advised of the report of smoke and heat in the attic. It was discovered to be a wicker trash can on fire.

At 14:16 hrs. Station 4 and Station 2 were dispatched to Route 309 south in West Penn township. to assist on a serious MVA. Engine 784 went en-route with 5 and was advised that they were going to be command on an LZ for three incoming helicopters.

At 11:53 hours Station 4 was dispatched for a brush fire at 799 old 209 road to assist Schuylkill Township. Upon arrival, brush 787 stood by with Schuylkill Township units awaiting PP&L, for downed wires.

At 07:33 hrs. Box 39 was struck for an AFA at 222 E. Broad St.(Tamaqua High Rise). All units were cancelled before going en-route by Cheif 773. Cheif 773 found the cause to be faulty alarm.

At 01:19 hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to 333 Penn St. for the report of an odor of smoke in a residence. Upon arrival on scene Eng. 784 personnel notice the odor of smoke in the entire block. No source was found.

At 17:54 hrs. Box 16 was struck for the report of a house fire at 205 N. Lehigh St. in the borough.. Eng. 784 went quickly en-route. Upon arrival Eng. 784 laid a supply line to supply Eng. 782. The crew of 4 went to assist with what was found to be a moderate kitchen fire.

At 21:41 hrs Station 4 and Station 2 were dispatched to the area of Bowe ans Race streets for the report of a car fire. Upon arrival found that police had extinguished the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher.
