At 10:00 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 398 Satdium Hill Rd. for an AFA . Engine 784 responded to discover that they had just fired up a forklift and set off the alarm. Captain 786-A had command all units were on scene for one hour.....

At 16:45 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 398 Stadium Hill Road to setup a landing zone for an incoming helicopter. Engine 784 & 782 responded to setup the lz and also assisted Tamaqua ems with transporting patient to the chopper.

At 20:38 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 131 Schuylkill Ave. for the report of smoke on the third floor of an apartment building. Chief 772 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the building. Upon further investigation the fire was found to already be out.

At 10:00 hrs Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 512 Lombard St. for a man buried in a ditch up to his head. Utility 788, Engine 782, Squad 783 responded. Upon arrival the man was almost dug out by neighbors and co-workers.

At 18: 21 hrs. the Tamaqua Fire Dept. was dispatched for a reported fire in a kitchen ceiling at 201 Market St.. Engine 784 went quickly en-route(with 5). While en-route Chief 772 had Eng. 784 and 782 respond under caution and kept all other units not responding yet in station.
