At 03:39hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 429 W. Fairview St., Pottsville. Squad 786 and Engine 778 went en route and was advised that the city had a three alarm structure fire. When units arrived they were sent to the Humane station for staging.
At 21:34hrs Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the intersection of Orwigsburg and Bowe for a vehicle leaking fluid. Engine 784 and Squad 783 responded to find PD on scene with a pickup leaking transmission fluid.
At 06:40hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 247 Vangelder St. for an odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised that there was a strong smell of rotten eggs. Upon further investigation they found the source to be the neighbors malfunctioning coal furnace.
At 00:46hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the high school for a landing zone setup. Engine 784 and Squad 786 went en route to be advised that the chopper had a seven minute arrival time. Units were on scene for half an hour.
At 17:45hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 23 Center St. for the report of a structure fire. Units went en route and were advised that it was called in as smoke from a window. Engine 782 and Chief 772 were first on scene and reported nothing showing.

At 09:52hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the intersections of N. Lehigh & Lafayette Sts. for an MVA. Eng. 784 went en route and was advised that there was a two car accident with fluids down.
At 05:58hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 201 E. Broad St. the Majestic House Apts. for an automatic fire alarm. When units went en route they were advised that police were on scene with a fire that was out but a heavy smoke condition in the building.
At 23:52hrs. the TFD was dispatched to the intersection of Lombard and Vine Streets for an incoming box alarm. Engine 784 went en route and was advised that a call was coming in that there was a basement fire at 513 Lombard St..
At 00:58hrs. the TFD was dispatched for Ladder 770 to respond to 105 Dorset Rd. in West Penn Twsp. for a working Structure Fire. The ladder responded assisted by the first out company Station 2. Units were on scene for several hours.
At 12:52hrs Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 118 Clay St. for a carbon monoxide investigation. Engine 784 and Squad 783 responded and through the use of meters determined there to be an extremely high amount of CO.
At 11:03hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to W. Broad St. and Lehigh St. for a two car MVA. Engines 784 and 782 went en route and were advised of no injuries with fluids down. Upon arrival Engine 784 discovered that one of the patients needed an ambulance.
At 07:58hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 28 Clay St. for an Odor Investigation. Engine 784 and Squad 783(Sta.2) responded and investigated to find an outlet shorted out in the wall. Personnel used TIC's to make sure everything was OK in the walls and cleared the scene within a half an hour.
At 13:16hrs. the TFD was dispatched for the RIT Team. To respond to 315 E. Fell St. for the report of a house fire. Summit hill units arrived on scene and found nothing showing and held units to station and then shortly after canceled all units.
At 21:00hrs. the Chiefs were requested to 301 W. Broad St. for a Utilities investigation. Upon arrival Chief 774 requested Engine 784 for our TIC to assist on the investigation. After investigating it was discovered to be problem with the ppl power grid.
At 11:20hrs.the TFD was dispatched to 22 Edgemont Rd., Lansford for a structure fire. The RIT team responded and assisted on scene for about half an hour.
