At 18:46hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 222 E. Broad St. for a reported apartment fire. Upon arrival of Chief 771 it was discovered to be a prank call. All units were placed available before going responding.

At 10:52hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to Center St. & Owl Creek Rd. for an MVA w/ entrapment. Chief 771 was first on scene and confirmed the entrapment. Eng 784 provided fire protection and also assisted in the extrication of the patient.

At 08:45hrs. the TFD was dispatched for any avaiable personnel to staff the Ladder 770 for a reported structure fire at 140 Walnut St. in Schuylkill Twp. The Ladder responded with E-782 & E-776. Units were on scene for half an hour.

At 18:08hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 26 Center St. for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival Chief 771 found nothing showing and after further investigation it was determined to be a false call. Units cleared in about ten minutes.

At 11:39hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 44 W. Broad St. for an odor investigation. Personnel investigated and found that the store front owner underneath the caller had started a kerosene heater.

At 19:45hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to 208 W. Centre St. in Mahanoy City for a stand-bye in station. Engine 784 & Squad 786 responded and stood by while Mahanoy City units were on a working fire in Girardville.

At 11:29hrs. Station 4&2 were dispatched to 72 Hunter St. for an odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised that it was a chemical odor. Units investigated and found it to possibly be sewer gas coming from a drain.

At 20:10hrs. the TFD Chiefs were dispatched to Race & Green St. for wires down. Chief 774 arrived and found metal roofing entangled in the power lines. Chief 774 then requested the fire police to the scene and crews from Stations 4&2 to standby.

At 18:19hrs. Stations 4&1, the Ladder, and Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Swamp Rd. and Valley Rd. for a reported structure fire. Units went en route and were placed available by Chief 32 reporting a controlled burn.

At 00:43hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to 1453 Valley Rd. Walker Twsp. for an MVA. Units went en route and were advised that it was an SUV verses pole. When units arrived the patient was self extricated.

At 20:54hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 44 W. Broad St. for a odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised that it was an odor of kerosene. After further investigation it was discovered that the store front below the complainant's apartment had a kerosene heater running.
