At 15:06hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 154 E. Walters St. in Summit Hill for a reported structure fire. Units were canceled shortly after going en route.
At 22:31hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 240 E. Birsch St. in Lansford for a house fire. Units responded to find a small kitchen fire that was quickly extinguished by first arriving units. The Rit Team staged at the scene until command was positive of no extension.
At 01:57hrs. Station 4&2 were dispatched to 150 W. Rowe St. for an odor investigation. Units went responded and were advised that the caller smelled gas in the area. Crews checked the area and the residence and found nothing.
At 18:12hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 17 W. Broad St. for a tree down. Engine 782 and Brush 787-1 found a tree down to the rear of the address. Units cut up and removed the tree and cleared within half an hour.
At 21:28 hrs. Stations 1&4 were dispatched to 200 Owl Creek Rd. for a tree down. Duty Chief 773 arrived to find a tree down also with two high tension lines down and power out in the area. Chief held units to stop traffic until fire police arrived.
At 14:11hrs Station 4 was dispatched to the intersections of South & Oak Sts. for a tree down. Utility 788 went arrived to find a tree down on a garage and blocking a roadway. The officer in charge determined that they could not do anything without doing more damage the owners property.
At 4:06 hrs Stations 1,3,& 4 were dispatched to 1300 block of E. Broad St. for a tree down. On the initial dispatch only Stations 1&3 were dispatched. Duty Chief 773 arrived on scene to find a large tree down blocking the road.
At 23:18hrs. Station 4 and Ladder 770 were dispatched to 277 Valley St. in New Philadelphia for a working house fire. Engine 784, Squad 786, and Ladder 770 responded and upon arrival the units were staged at McMullens Market and crews were advised to come to the scene to assist with operations.
At 17:34hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 234 E. Elm St. for a possible house fire. Chiefs 772& 774 along with Engines 775&778 were already on scene investigating an unknown type fire. When upon arrival they discovered a house full of smoke.
At 11:25hrs the TFD was dispatched to 30 E. Mauch Chunk St. for a reported structure fire. Engine 782 was first to arrive and found it to be a malfunctioning furnace. Captain 783 held all units to station, and then canceled shortly after.
At 10:15hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 82 Hunter St. for a structure fire. Units went en route and were advised that there was a large amount of black smoke coming from the chimney. At 10:35hrs Station 4&2 were dispatched to 29 Lafayatte St. for an MVA w/injuries. Engines 784 & 782 responded to find a rear end collision with one patient with minor injuries. Both units were on scene for one hour.
At 19:32hrs. Station 4&3 along with Ladder 770 were dispatched to 28 Kettle Rd. in Walker Twsp. for a structure fire. Engine 2717(Tuscarora) was first on scene followed by Chiefs 3202(Walker) and 773.
