At 11:11 hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 234 High St. for an AFA. Engine 784 responded to find a maintenance worker cutting a hole in concrete had set of the alarm from the dust. Units were on scene for fifteen minutes.

At 10:15 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 205 S. Chestnut St. in Summit Hill for a reported structure fire. Units were canceled before going en route.

At 05:53 hrs. the TFD RIT TEAM was dispatched to 358 W. Ridge St. for a possible house fire. Units were canceled before going en route.

At 08:54 hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the intersections of Swatara and Lafayatte for a pole fire. Units responded gave pole numbers and waited for PPL to arrive.

At 03:13hrs the TFD was dispatched to 201 E. Broad St. the Majestic House Apts. for smoke in an apartment. Units went en route and were advised of heavy smoke in the apartment and on the floor. Chief 771 arrived and assumed command.

At 16:46hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 109 Center St. for an MVA with no injuries and fluids down. Engine 784 went en route and were advised that the vehicles were of the roadway in the burger king lot.

At 08:20hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 517 E. Elm St. for smoke in a structure. Units went en route and were advised that the caller could hear an alarm coming from the lower apartment and could smell smoke.

At 12:16hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to the intersections of W. Broad St. and Hunter St. for an MVA. Engine 784 responded to find a car that had jumped a parking block and struck a building. The crew handled some small fluids and waited for a tow company.

At 23:10hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 104 Schuylkill Ave. for smoke in a structure. Units arrived to find nothing showing. Upon further investigating there was nothing to be found in the building. Units were clear in about one half hour.

At 19:57hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 205 Center St. for a pole down. When units went responding they were advised that a tractor trailer had hit a pole at the intersections of Spruce and Center Sts.

At 11:40hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 500 W. Bertsch St. in Lansford for a commercial structure fire. Do to the quick actions of the employees of the food market the fire was extinguished before units arrived.

At 10:47hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 12 E. Abbott St. for a reported structure fire. Units were placed available within ten minutes of arrival.

CHURCH FIRE

Monday, November 14th, 2011

At 14:01hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 101 N. Greenwood St. for church fire. First arriving units found a small amount of smoke in the building. After further investigation they found it to be a ballast in a light fixture.

At 19:06hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 397 Stadium Hill Rd. for a landing zone set up for an incoming helicopter. Units were on scene for half an hour.
