At 18:27 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 119 Lafayatte St. for a tree down. Chief 773 was first to arrive and canceled units due to the tree being on wires but not in the road. County notified PPL.
At 03:48 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to Elm and Elizabeth Sts. for an incoming box. Chief 771 was first to arrive finding nothing and holding units in stations. After a short investigation the chief canceled all units..
At 19:34hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to Rose and Washington St. for a Chief Request. Chief 774 was on scene of a camp fire left unattended and requested our Brush 787-1 to extinguish the fire.
At 15:39 hrs. Station 4 was dispatched to Lewis St. and Woodland Rd. in Schuylkill Twp. for a brush fire. Units were canceled by 27-14 before going en route.
At 19:40 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 336 Lincoln St. for a tree down. Brush 787-1 and Engine 782 responded to find a medium sized tree across the road. The Crew from 787-1 went to work cutting the tree while 782's crew helped with clearing the pieces.
At 14:00 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 402 W. Spruce St. for a reported structure fire. All units with the exception of Station1 units were held in station.
At 16:21 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 174 Penn St. for an odor investigation. Units went en route and were advised that it was the odor of an unknown gas. Upon arrival crews went to work investigating but found nothing.
At 13:13 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 400 Boyle Ave. for a brush fire. Brush 787-1 and 787-2 along with Engine 782 responded. Engine 782 staged at the bottom of the mountain while it crew went with 787-2.
At 19:51hrs. Stations 4&2 were dispatched to 22 Lafayette St. for a tree down. Upon arrival Brush 787-1 determined that we could not cut the tree due to being on wires and a very steep bank. Chief 771 had command he agreed and released all units.
