At 00:23 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 29 S. Kennedy Dr. for a working structure fire with entrapment. Squad 786 and Engine 776 responded with fourteen and stood-by for one hour. Chief 773 had RIT command.
At 06:48 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 11 Cherry St. for smoke in a structure. Units responded to find nothing showing. Upon further investigation no fire was found and units were placed available.
At 16:11 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 397 Stadium Hill Rd. for a landing zone. Engines 784 & 782 responded and set up a landing zone for incoming Penn Star 5 helicopter. Chief 771 had command.
At 20:53 hrs. Station 4 & 2 were dispatched to 7 Cherry St. for an odor investigation. Units responded and were unable tto find anything hazardous in the area.
At 11:57 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 29 E. Mauch Chunk St. for an apartment fire. Lieutenant 780 was first on scene and advised that it was a trash can on fire that was out. Units were held to the first two responding units E-782 and E-776 all other units were canceled.
At 13:12 hrs. the TFD RIT Team was dispatched to 627 E. Patterson St. in Lansford for a reported house fire. Units were canceled before going en route.
At 14:16 hrs. Stations 4 & 3 were dispatched to 40 E. Ridge St. in Coaldale for a stove fire. Chief 40 was first to arrive and found the fire to be out and held the call to Engine 4017 and Engine 778.
At 12:10 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Spruce and Hunter St. for a motorcycle fire. Police arrived and knocked down the fire with an extinguisher. Engine 782 arrived put down oil dry and waited for towing.
At 20:52 hrs. Stations 4 & 2 were dispatched to 37 W. Broad St. for an AFA. Engines 784 & 782 arrived to find nothing showing. Crews searched all floors for reasons of activation and found nothing.
At 16:24 hrs. the TFD was dispatched to 37 Lafayatte St. for a reported house fire. Chief 771 was first to arrive to find a malfunctioning oil burner. Chief 771 canceled all units.
